Blunt - A cigar filled with weed. The most badass way to smoke, and also the least efficient. Since it is constantly burning to stay lit, a fair amount of smoke is lost into the air. This is more of a party way to smoke, since the amount of weed needed is easier to obtain if there are a number of people contributing. See Biggie Smalls.
Bong - A smoking device in which the smoke is filtered and cooled at least once by passing through water. You inhale through the top while lighting the herb until the chamber is filled with smoke. Then you lift out the bowl (where the weed is) to allow air to rush through, allowing you to inhale all smoke in the chamber (This is called clearing, and should be done at the end of every bong hit).
Bowl - This can refer to the location on a bong where the weed is placed, or a small smoking pipe made with glass or pyrex. To smoke a pipe, cover the hole to the side of location of the weed (called a carb or shotgun hole). Then light the ganja while inhaling. At the end of the hit, release the finger covering the carb to clear the chamber (you don't want to waste any smoke in there). If you want to get fancy, cover and release the hole multiple times during a hit, deliver several burs of air and weed smoke, which will get you higher (this is called shotgunning).
Carb - The hole in a pipe or bong which needs to be covered in order to start the hit, and released at the end in order to empty the piece of smoke..

Ganja - Weed
Gravity Bong - A bottle with a bowl of some sort inserted into the cap, and placed in a larger container of water. You light the weed while pulling up gently on the bottle. As the water drains from the bottle (via a hole in the bottom (or sometimes the bottom will be removed completely)), it draws in air from the cap, pulling in the smoke. The bottle fills with smoke, and when all the water has been drained out, you unscrew the cap and inhale rapidly through the top. This is one of the most efficient ways to smoke since it is a fast and direct hit and wastes no smoke.
Headies - The best part of the weed, and consequently, the most expensive. If you're rich, this is the only way to go, but for everyone else, it's a waste of money.
Herb - Weed
Joint - A marijuana cigarette. Minus the filter. Cigarette filters will remove the THC, so don't empty out cigarettes and refill them with weed unless you cut off the majority of the filter. Joint rolling is a skill that should be learned, and a good joint is characterized by even herb dispersion and how well packed they are. Basically, the closer to
Kief - Pure THC which has fallen off weed. The best way to obtain this is with a grinder, which should feature a screen leading to a chamber where kief is collected. Kief can be used like as a seasoning would be used on a meal, sprinkled on top of a packed bowl to add more potency to the first hit. It can also be used to make hash.
Isopropyl Alcohol - This should be available at most convenience stores or superstores. It can be used in combination with salt (although it still works by itself) to clean a piece (essential for anything involving water). If your piece is microwave safe, then you may microwave it with the alcohol inside in order to clean hard to reach areas. Don't save any of it, since it's dirty with tar.
It can also be used to clean out grinders, pill bottles, plastic bags, and anything where weed is kept which appears dusty. The dust is kief, and can be extracted by rinsing in isopropyl, poured into pan of some sort, and then scraped off after the alcohol has evaporated. This process should always yield a pleasant kief suprise, and is well worth the investment.
Piece - Something you smoke out of, often refers to something handheld.
Pipe - maybe you should just look this up in a dictionary...
Schwag - Very low-grade weed. Not very useful, unless you want to roll a blunt with it, it usually consists largely of leaves and stems.
Sploof - A paper towel roll filled with dryer sheets. Smoke exhaled through this smells like clean laundry.
Stems - The plant matter that your bud is attached to. These can be smoked in desperate times, but they yield
a very small high, and usually a headache. These can be made into tea, or scraped with a knife to remove residual kief. Some prefer to chew on them, and it's pretty common to see them chewed while a person rolls a joint or blunt.
Water Pipe - Another word for bong, also applied to pipes which feature some form of water filtration.
